Terms of Service

Last updated · June 16, 2026

These terms govern your use of Roseau during its private beta. Roseau is a personal AI for keeping work and life in order. By requesting access or using the app, you agree to what’s written here. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Roseau.

About the beta

Roseau is pre-release software. Features may change, pause, or break, and availability is not guaranteed. We may add, remove, or modify functionality as we learn. Roseau is offered for global regions excluding mainland China; using Simplified Chinese in the app is a language preference only.

Access & eligibility

  • Access is granted by invitation during the closed beta.
  • You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

Your content stays yours

You own the records, notes, messages, and other content you put into Roseau. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the service for you — prepare briefs, run the services you set up, and keep memory inspectable. We don’t claim ownership of your content, and we don’t train models on your raw data. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Briefs are for your judgment

Roseau prepares briefs, suggestions, and drafts based on the context it can see. These are informational and meant to support your decisions — not replace them. Sensitive actions wait for your confirmation; the last click stays human. Roseau’s output is not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice, and you’re responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you confirm.

Connected services

When you connect an external service — such as Google, Gmail, Calendar, or Notion — you authorize Roseau to access only what your grant allows, and only to provide the features you asked for. Those providers’ own terms also apply to your use of them. You can disconnect an integration at any time.

Acceptable use

  • Don’t use Roseau for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
  • Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the service or its security.
  • Don’t input other people’s personal data that you have no right to share.

Availability & changes

Because this is a beta, we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may also update these terms; when we do, we’ll change the date above. Continuing to use Roseau after an update means you accept the revised terms.

No warranty

Roseau is provided “as is” and “as available” during the beta, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee that briefs will be complete, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will be error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roseau and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the beta. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Ending your use

You can stop using Roseau at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and cloud data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access if these terms are misused.
